Conchologists of America, Inc. - Also known as COA, this is the major organization for shell
collectors in the United States. The website has practical information on collecting, links to
other shell sites, and interesting articles. For a low yearly membership fee, members
receive a beautiful quarterly magazine.


Bailey Matthews Shell Museum  -  Very interesting website with lots of resources and
information, from this well known shell museum in Sanibel, Florida


Malacolog - this website, created by Gary Rosenberg, Ph.D. (Academy of Natural Science
in Philadelphia) contains a large database with taxonomic and biogeographic information on
Western Atlantic mollusks.

Jacksonville Shell Club - this is a huge website filled with shell photographs for
identification, articles, and Florida species lists. The site was created and is maintained by
Bill Frank. Be sure to read some of the articles by Harry G. Lee, M.D.

Bahamianseashells.com - the website of Bahamianseashells.com, Inc., the publisher of the
best book on Bahamian and Caribbean seashells,
Bahamian Seashells: A Thousand
Species from Abaco, Bahamas
by Colin Redfern. This excellent book is also very useful for
Florida shell collectors.
